To remove |
1. |
Place a receptacle under the radiator and drain off the coolant. Open the expansion tank filler cap to speed up the process.

Make a note of the radio code, if any, and remove the battery.
|
3. |
Detach the power steering fluid pipe from the radiator crossmember and clips.
|
4. |
Detach the radiator's three hoses and remove the upper hose.
|
5. |
Unplug the radiator fan connectors.
|
6. |
Remove the heat shield from the front exhaust manifold.
|
7. |
Undo the radiator fan cowling's bolts and lift up the cowling.
|
8. |
Undo the clips for the radiator and unplug the A/C compressor's connector. Remove the right-hand air seal
|
9. |
Remove the gearbox's oil pipe.
|
10. |
Remove the grille.
|
11. |
Undo the condenser's lower mounting and unhook the condenser from the radiator.
|
12. |
Remove the radiator.

To fit |

Spread some vaseline on the radiator's rubber bushings.
|
2. |
Fit the radiator with clips.
|
3. |
Plug in the A/C compressor's connectors and refit the right-hand air seal.
|
4. |
Refit the gearbox's fluid pipe.
|
5. |
Refit the radiator fan cowling
|
6. |
Refit the heat shield on the front exhaust manifold.
|
7. |
Hook on the condenser and bolt it in place.
|
8. |
Fit the front grille.
|
9. |
Attach the radiator hoses
|
10. |
Mount the power steering fluid pipe on the radiator crossmember.
|
11. |
Plug in the radiator fan connector.
|
12. |
Fit the battery.
|

Fill up with coolant and bleed the system as follows:
Fill the system to the MAX level, close the expansion tank filler cap, start the engine and warm it up at varying rpm until the radiator fan starts. Open the expansion tank filler cap and top up to the MAX level. Close the expansion tank filler cap and run the engine at varying throttle openings until the radiator fan starts three more times. Switch off the engine and top up the system as necessary to the MAX level. Check system integrity. |

Set the clock and radio code, if any. Calibrate the ACC.
