The crankshaft position sensor is mounted on the crankshaft at the flywheel end of the engine block.
To remove |

Remove the resonating
chamber.

2. |
Unplug the connector to release the sensor wiring.

3. |
Snip the cable ties and remove the wiring.
|
4. |
Remove the sensor retaining bolt and remove the sensor. Note the position of
the sealing ring.

To fit |

1. |
Clean the sensor seating and fit
the sensor with the sealing ring correctly mounted.
Tightening torque, retaining bolt: 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft) |

Refit the wiring and secure it in place with cable ties.

Plug in the connector.
