Throttle body

Remove the resonating
chamber.

2. |
Disconnect the throttle cable and Cruise Control cable, if fitted.
|
3. |
Unscrew the expansion tank filler cap to release the pressure in the cooling
system.

Remove the IAC valve and the crankcase breather hose.

5. |
Disconnect the coolant hoses from the throttle body.

6. |
Disconnect other hoses from the throttle body.
|
7. |
Remove the throttle position sensor.

8. |
Remove the 4 retaining screws and lift away the throttle
body.

To fit |

1. |
Check the condition and
positioning of the O-ring.
|
2. |
Refit the throttle body and tighten the retaining screws.
Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft) |

Refit the throttle position sensor.
|
4. |
Check the setting of the throttle valve, see Fig. If necessary, adjust it by
slackening 2 screws and then moving the bracket in the desired direction. See

5. |
Reconnect all hoses as well as the throttle cable and Cruise Control cable, if
fitted.

6. |
Refit the IAC valve.
|
7. |
Refit the resonating chamber.

Check functionality.
