To remove |
1. |
Remove the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold.

Unhook the throttle cable from the throttle body.
|
3. |
Remove the lower part of the dashboard and unhook the throttle wire from the accelerator pedal.

4. |
Unhook the accelerator pedal's return spring.
|
5. |
Remove the clips and the bushings.
|
6. |
Pull out the accelerator pedal and remove the return spring.
|
To fit |

Refit the return spring and the accelerator pedal.
|
2. |
Refit the bushings and the clips.
|
3. |
Hook on the return spring and hook the throttle cable on to the accelerator pedal.
|
4. |
Open the throttle fully and hook the throttle cable on to the throttle valve (butterfly).
|
5. |
Place a 5 mm spacer on the pedal stop and press the pedal down against the spacer. Adjust the tension of the throttle cable by means of the adjusting screw on the cable.

6. |
Release the accelerator pedal and adjust the position with the setting screw on the upper part of the pedal. There should be no play, slack or tension in the cable.

7. |
Refit the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold.
|
8. |
Refit the bottom part of the facia.
