Plug in the scan tool and select "READ FAULT CODES" from the menu. If any trouble codes are present, continue on page

With the engine running, select "ACT. OTHER FUNCT" from the scan tool menu and then "AC". The compressor should now be activated.

If it is not, check that a power supply of about 12 V is present on one of the anti-frost thermometer's connector contacts. If the voltage reading is OK, continue fault diagnosis as described in Service Manual 8:3 "Climate control system".

If the voltage reading is not OK, connect a BOB and check the wiring for breaks/shorting between the ICE module and the anti-frost thermostat. NOTE: The scan tool command should still be activated.

If the wiring is OK, continue on
