Saab 900 2.0i and 2.3i M94, M95 and M96
up to and including engine serial No. T039951.
The rotor has not previously been available as a spare part.
Separate rotors are now available as spare parts.

To remove
|
1.

Remove the distributor cap.
|
|
2.
|
Remove the rotor by crushing it with a pair of pincers or other pliers with sharp
jaws (place a cloth or piece of paper round the rotor before crushing it to catch the
pieces).

Important

|
Make sure that no pieces of the rotor drop into the
distributor.
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Wipe the distributor shaft clean with acetone.
|
To fit
|
1.
|
Wash out the rotor with a little
acetone.
|
|
2.
|
Apply adhesive to the rotor.
|
|
3.
|
Make sure that the rotor fits in the groove in the distributor shaft and that it locks
securely onto the shaft.
|
|
4.
|
If the temperature of the material is 20-25°C, the hardening time will be 2-3
hours. If the temperature of the material is 5-15°C, the hardening time will be at least 8
hours.
