The SID unit can produce acoustic signals for various situations.
The signals are assigned priority as follows:

Reminder (warning, ignition key and seat-belt)

Confirmation (of button depression)

Direction indicators (TICK TACK)
The SID receives requests for acoustic signals from other systems on pins 16 and 17. |
