Repair kit for number plate lamp
|
Saab 900 M1994-
Water and moisture may seep into the number plate lamp on certain cars. This
gives rise to corrosion which could render the lamp unserviceable. To avoid changing the
complete trim panel, a repair kit has been developed.
Repair kit 46 73 224 (containing lens, gasket, screws with washers and an extra
contact strips for the trim panel). The lens, gasket and contact strips are made of new
materials to reduce the risk of water and moisture seeping into the number plate
lamp.

Undo the screws and remove
the lens and gasket.

2.
|
Disconnect the leads from the contact strips in the panel.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the contact strips from their mountings, using a pair of pliers.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the new contact strips and connect the leads.
|
|
5.
|
Screw the new lens in place.
|
