Fault symptoms
The lamp does not light up when the ignition switch is turned to the Drive
position.
Diagnostic procedure

In the event of a fault in the SRS 1 warning lamp
circuit, diagnostic trouble codes B1227 and/or B1228 will be generated in the airbag system
and SRS 2 will remain constantly alight as long as the ignition is on. Continue fault diagnosis
as described in Service Manual 8:6 "SRS (airbag) M1995".
