Programming for siren, VSS
|
In its basic version, only the special alarm horn is used to trigger the sound alarm. On certain markets, a siren with battery backup requires to be fitted. The alarm's
horn
is activated via a relay output in the control module. I.e. ground is connected to the horn when activated.
The horn
must be continuously supplied with +12 V and if this is absent, the siren will start. In order to achieve this, the alarm must be programmed for the siren. For correct operation, siren must also be selected from the "COUNTRY CODE" menu. See programming "COUNTRY CODE".
Connect the ISAT scan tool.
