Warning - risk of burns!
Although the system voltage is only 12 V, injuries may be caused by flash-over or fire in the car due to the very high energy content of the battery. A short-circuit could create extremely high currents!

Warning - high tension!
The electronic ignition system generates voltages higher than 48,000 V. Such voltages may be fatal to persons with a weak heart and those who have a pacemaker. Treat the entire ignition system with great respect.

Before starting work on the electrical system:

•

remove your watch and any rings you may be wearing

•

check that the customer has the code for the radio before disconnecting a battery terminal (this does not apply to a Saab original radio)

•

disconnect the negative terminal of the battery when removing electrical components

•

always follow instructions and directions for the relevant systems

Warning

ABS and SRS cables must not be repaired but replaced completely.
