The control module receives a PWM signal from the Trionic control module. Its frequency is proportional to engine speed. The pulse duration (width) indicates the engine load (0-100%%).

The gear selector position sensor incorporates two potentiometers. One of them registers the transverse movements of the gear lever relative to the car. (0-5 V).

The gear selector position sensor contains two potentiometers. One of them registers the longitudinal movement of the gear lever (0-5 V).

GEAR LEVER SENSOR

The gear lever incorporates an inductive sensor. The output signal from the sensor is proportional to the force exerted on it. At zero force the nominal output voltage is 2.5 V (0-5 V).

CLUTCH TEMPERATURE

The gearbox is fitted with an NTC sensor which measures the air temperature inside the clutch housing.

The gear selector position sensor contains two potentiometers. The output voltage from the two potentiometers indicates the selected gear position.

System operative under an emergency "Limp Home" program. No throttle position signal from Trionic and engine speed used as substitute value.

System operative under an emergency "Limp Home" program. No engine speed signal from Trionic and throttle position used as substitute value.

System inoperative. System failure necessitates towing.
