       1.
       | 
      
       Unscrew the cover of the brake
fluid reservoir and top up with brake fluid.

       2.
       | 
      
       Connect the topping-up unit (supplied in brake bleeding kit 88 19 096) to the
brake fluid reservoir. Position a hose with one end in the topping up unit and the other in a
bottle filled with new brake fluid.

       3.
       | 
      
       Lift the car. Connect the brake bleeder hose to the front left wheel and open the
nipple. Draw off approx. 0.1 litres of brake fluid.

       4.
       | 
      
       Move the brake bleeder to the front right wheel and open the nipple. Draw off
approx. 0.1 litres of brake fluid.

       5.
       | 
      
       Move the brake bleeder to the rear left wheel and open the nipple. Draw off
approx. 0.05 litres of brake fluid.

       6.
       | 
      
       Move the brake bleeder to the rear right wheel and open the nipple. Draw off
approx. 0.05 litres of brake fluid.

       7.
       | 
      
       Lower the car.
        
        
       
        Check brake operation.
        
       
        Depress the brake pedal and check that it does not sink.

       Remove the topping-up unit, hose and bottle.
        
        
       |

       9.
       | 
      
       Adjust the brake fluid level.
