Low-profile tyres are fitted to the car. To explain what the tyre markings mean, the size designation 195/60 R 15 88 V can be used as an example:

195	=	Tyre section width in mm
60	=	Aspect ratio, i.e. the section height is 60%of the section width
R	=	Radial
15	=	Inside diameter of tyre in inches (wheel diameter at bead seats)
88	=	Tyre load code (88 corresponds to 560 kg)
V	=	Speed marking (V = up to 240 km/h)
