| 1. | 
        Mount the car on an aligning bench and realign to the correct measurements if necessary.
         |

| 2. | 
        Drill out the spot welds on the inside.
         Drill out the spot welds on the outside.  | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Remove the rear bumper abutment and realign any deformed metalwork.
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Drill holes for plug welding in the spare part.
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Use a grinder to clean the areas on the spare part and body that are to be welded.
         | 
      |
| 6. | 
        Apply welding primer to the surfaces which are to be spot welded. Use Teroson Zinkspray.
         | 
      |
| 7. | 
        Position the new rear bumper abutment and fix it with a few welding clamps.
         | 
      |
| 8. | 
        Fit the bumper, close the tailgate and check the fit of the abutment.
         | 
      |
| 9. | 
        Spot weld the rear bumper abutment to the outside.
         | 
      |
| 10. | 
        Plug weld the rear bumper abutment to the inside.
         | 
      |
| 11. | 
        Grind the welds clean.
         | 
      |
| 12. | 
        Wash off surplus welding primer. Welding primer makes for poorer adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.
         | 
      |
| 13. | 
        Apply primer to all surfaces which have been ground clean. Use Standox 1K Füllprimer.
         | 
      |
| 14. | 
        Seal joints and metal folds with putty. Use Terostat 1K-PUR.
         | 
      |
| 15. | 
        Apply PVC substitute to the underside of the rear bumper abutment. Use Terostat 9320.
         | 
      |
