Air distribution
Air distribution |
In the climate control unit the air is directed by the air distribution damper to the defroster, panel or floor vents. The knob on the control panel can also be set between the three main settings. The air is then divided between defroster and floor or between panel and floor.
1. |
1 Defroster
The air is directed to the vents in the top of the dashboard and to the defroster outlets for the front side windows. At the same time a small amount of air flows to the dash vents to prevent a cold draft from the door windows. |
2. |
2 Panel
The air is directed to: |
• |
The air vents in the dashboard
|
• |
The air vent at the rear of the centre console
|
3. |
3 Floor
The air is directed to: |
• |
The air vents under the dashboard
|
• |
The air vents under the front seats
|
• |
The air vents by the rear-door windows
At the same time a small amount of air flows to the dash vents to prevent a cold draft from the door windows. Select a combination of defrost and floor settings to achieve the most efficient demisting of the rear-door windows. |
