Electric heating of the rear window and door mirrors is automatically engaged after starting when the cabin temperature is lower than + 10 ° C. They are engaged after a delay of 10 seconds, by a short pulse (approx. 150 ms) being sent to the ICE. ICE grounds a feedback lead to the ACC control module and the symbol for the electrically heated rear window lights up on the ACC control module display. On the basis of the battery voltage, ICE controls how long the electrically heated rear window should be connected (max 12 mins). Regardless of whether the ACC control module has selected on or off for the electrically heated rear window, this function can be selected manually on the panel.
