Changing wiring harness in the passenger compartment

Changing the rear harness is a major task and the following points are only intended to simplify removal.
|
2.
|
Remove the trim around the windscreen, sill protection on both sides and both front seats.
|
3.
|
Remove the rear seat backrest, seat cushion and the side trim on both sides of the rear seat.
|
4.
|
Remove the front and rear centre console and the dashboard.
|
5.
|
Lift the car and remove the fuel tank so that the fuel pump connectors are accessible and pull them into the compartment.
|
6.
|
Unplug the rear wheel sensor connectors.
|
7.
|
Remove the sill protection and the left and right-hand side trim in the luggage compartment.
|
8.
|
Mark all the connectors accurately
before disconnecting them from their components.
|
9.
|
Fit the new wiring harness, carefully checking the colour code on the connectors against the car's wiring diagram.

Secure the wiring harness correctly so that there is no risk of it rattling.
