Fifth bow

To remove



1. Remove the fifth bow seal.

2. Remove the screws securing the rear of the headlining.

3. Detach the outer roof from the fifth bow.

4. Drill away the blind rivets securing the cloth bands to the fifth bow.

5. Remove the screws securing the fifth bow and lift it away.

6. Transfer the latch fittings and rear window guides to the new bow if one is being fitted.



To fit



1. Transfer the latch fittings and rear window guides to the new bow if one is being fitted.

2. Put the fifth bow in place and tighten the screws.


3. Put the cloth bands in place and blind rivet them to the fifth bow.

4. Glue the roof cloth to the fifth bow. Use Super Weatherstrip Adhesive.

5. Screw on the rear of the headlining.

6. Put the fifth bow seal in place. Use soap water on the seal to make it easier to fit.

7. Connect the diagnostic tool, clear any diagnostic trouble codes and then program the control module. See .
