Soft top cover

To remove


1. Remove the cover from underneath the soft top cover.


2. Remove the screws securing the crash wires to the soft top cover.

3. Mark out the position for the screw securing the soft top cover latch braces.


4. Remove the screws and lift away the latch braces.

5. Remove the screws securing rotating covers. Detach the covers and put them out of the way.

6. Mark out the position for the soft top cover retaining nuts.

7. Remove the soft top cover retaining nuts and lift away the soft top cover.


To fit



1. Put the soft top cover in place and tighten the retaining nuts as marked.

2. Put the rotating covers in place and tighten the screws.

3. Put the latch braces in place and tighten them as marked.

4. Put the crash wires in place and tighten the screws. The end sleeves of each wire should be pointing at each other.


Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.3 lbf ft)

5. Put back the cover.
