ACC

ACC

If the soft top is lowered while the ignition is on, or is down when the ignition is turned on, the TSAS control module will send a signal to the SID, which in turn will send the "TOP OPEN" signal to the ACC control module. The signal is sent from pin 11 (K42) on the TSAS control module to pin 5 on the SID. The ACC system is set as follows:

"AUTO" is turned off.

The temperature value disappears and is replaced with a value indicating the position of the air-blending flap in steps of 1 to 10, where 10 indicates hot and 1 cool. Positions LO and HI are also present, which means maximum cooling and maximum heating respectively.

The fan speed is set to the value it had when the soft top was up, except in position LO and HI, when the fan speed will increase automatically and be shown on the display.

The air distributor goes to the floor position when the air-blending flap position is between 1 and 10. In position LO, the air distributor will go to the panel position and in position HI to defroster/floor.

A/C is engaged.

The electrically heated rear window is turned off.

All manual selections are available, with the exception of the electrically heated rear window.
