Trim, B pillar, 5D

To remove



1. Move the front seat forwards as far as it will go.

2. Remove the scuff plates from the front and rear door sills (fastened with clips).

3. Remove the door weatherstrips from the B pillar.

4. Remove the seat-belt anchorage from the front seat, see the method for the front seats in the "Seats, seat cushions and carpeting" section.

5. Remove the air outlet grille (snap fasteners).

6. Remove the upper, inner pillar trim (secured with snap fasteners) by grasping the upper edge of the trim and pulling it down with care while carefully bending the snap fasteners with a screwdriver.


7. Extract the seat belt through the hole in the trim.

8. Remove the lower part of the pillar trim (fastened with clips).

9. Remove the belt adjuster, see "Front seat belts, 5D" in the "Interior equipment" section.

10. Remove the upper, outer pillar trim (fastened with clips).


To fit

Fit in reverse order.
