Seat chassis, electrically adjustable seat

To remove



1. Raise the seat as far as it will go.

2. Remove the seat, .

3. Remove the wiring from the switches .

4. Remove the wiring from the backrest rake angle adjustment motor .

5. Remove the backrest heating pad connector.

6. Remove the relay holder by drilling out the pop rivet heads. Unplug the 8-pin connector in the seat frame.


7. Remove the seat chassis retaining bolts.



To fit

Fit in reverse order.

Important

Make sure that the wiring is fitted in the same position as before, so that it will not be nipped when the seat is adjusted.


Tightening torque:

Seat chassis retaining bolts: 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)
