Reducing valve

To remove



1. Raise the car and remove the cover.

2. Remove the plug and take out the spring and reducing valve.


To fit


1. Fit the reducing valve and spring. Check that the reducing valve is an easy fit.

2. Check the seal and sealing face and fit the plug.

Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft).

3. Fit the cover and lower the car to the floor.

4. Check the oil level and top up as necessary.
