Crankshaft position sensor
| Crankshaft position sensor | 
The crankshaft position sensor is mounted on the crankshaft at the flywheel end of the engine block.
| To remove | 
 
    
    | 1. | Remove the resonating
chamber. | |
| 2. | Unplug the connector to release the sensor wiring.

| 3. | Snip the cable ties and remove the wiring. | |
| 4. | Remove the sensor retaining bolt and remove the sensor. Note the position of
the sealing ring.   | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Clean the sensor seating and fit
the sensor with the sealing ring correctly mounted. Tightening torque, retaining bolt: 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft) | |
| 2. | Refit the wiring and secure it in place with cable ties.   | |
| 3. | Plug in the connector. | |
