"READ FUNCTIONS" command menu |
Values relating to the different commands are stored in the control module's internal memory. These values are updated continuously, some of them as soon as the ignition switch is turned to the ON position although most of them require the engine to be started. When the engine is switched off the control module stores the most recent value recorded.
This value is displayed next time the ignition switich is turned to the ON position but it is not relevant for commands requiring the engine to be started. The ISAT scan tool will then display an incorrect value.
The ISAT scan tool display texts below are presented in the same order as the commands under READ FUNCTIONS in the ISAT scan tool menu structure.

MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR

Shows the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR's
input voltage (control module, pin 7) and the associated intake air flow in grammes per
second (g/s). Conversion is carried out according to the characteristics of the mass air flow
sensor:

BATTERY VOLTAGE

heated oxygen sensor mounted after the three way catalytic converter. Operating range: 0.00
- 1.25 V.

FRONT OXYGEN SENSOR

Shows the preheating current (control module pin 37) for the front
heated oxygen sensor mounted before the three way catalytic converter. The preheating
current is measured internally in the control module via a 0.1 ohm resistor and presented in
volts.
Operating range: 0.0 - 1.0 V. Shows the preheating current (control module pin 30) for the rear heated oxygen sensor mounted after the three way catalytic converter. The preheating current is measured internally in the control module via a 0.1 ohm resistor and presented in volts. Operating range: 0.0 - 1.0 V. |
