Fault symptom

No sound at all.

Important
The positive battery terminal must be disconnected before the grounding point can be checked.

Check that the cable lug is tightened down hard under the grounding screw.

Check the wiring for continuity/shorting between pin 8 of connector A and a good grounding point.
