Test readings, control module connections

Test readings, control module connections

The following pages contain data and instructions for measuring voltage levels on the ICE control module.

Remember:

All readings should be obtained with the use of a Breakout Box (BOB) connected between the control module and the control module connector.

Several voltage levels should be regarded as guiding values only. Use your common sense when judging whether a particular reading is correct or not.

If a test reading is wrong, consult the wiring diagram to find out which cables, connectors or components should be checked further.

Page references in the table indicate the page on which the principle of operation of the signal in question is described.

All test readings are with the engine at normal operating temperature.

Unless otherwise stated, the ignition should be switched on.

Specified readings apply to a calibrated FLUKE 88/97.
