Saab 900, M96-
It is possible to experience difficulty programming the sound duration after replacing the anti-theft ECM. Use the following procedure to easily program the ECM using Tech 2.
Programming alarm “chirp” (buzz)

Connect and turn on Tech 2.
|
2.
|
Go to the Anti Theft diagnostics menu.
|
3.
|
Select F2: Programming.
|
4.
|
Select Flash/Buzz Adjustment.
|

|
Original Value is displayed. Press Enter.

Selecting Original Value will reset all chirp (buzz) and light flashes, requiring that all values be reprogrammed.

|
Press the soft display key for OK.
|

5.a.
|
Press the soft display key for increase or decrease until 10 ms is displayed.

5.b.
|
Press the soft display key for Program ECM.
|
|
5.c.
|
Press Exit.

Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Buzz-1.

Go to Tailgate-unlock Buzz.

Go to Tailgate Unlock-Flash.

Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Flash-2 sec.

Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

Press Exit until Clear vehicle appears on the display.

|
Press the soft display key for Clear vehicle.

|
Turn off and disconnect Tech 2.
|
13.
|
Check the operation of the anti-theft system:
|
|
•
|
Lock: one chirp (buzz), one short flash
|
|
•
|
Unlock: two chirps, three short flashes
|
|
•
|
Unlock trunk: three chirps, one long flash.
