Cables and leads

The leads are marked with a code consisting of three parts:

P15-5 YE/GY 2.5



The first part (P15-5) is the position number

The second part (YE/GY) is the colour code

The third part (2.5) is the cross-sectional are of the lead in mm| 2

Position number.

All the leads are given an alphabetic designation followed by an individual number.

Leads with the same letter and number, e.g. E110, E110-1, E110-2, etc. usually belong to the same function.

Colour code.

The wiring diagrams in this manual use the following colour codes. The colour codes can also be used in combination with each other, e.g. BU/RD, GY/WH, etc. The colour specified first is the dominant one, i.e. the colour found on the greatest part of the lead circumference.

Cross-sectional area.

The cross-sectional area of the conductor is specified in mm 2 and determines the current that the cable is capable of carrying.
