SOLENOID 1-2/3-4 FUNCTION ON/OFF ACTIVE 30s/1Hz
The control module activates shift solenoid 1-2/3-4 (S1) for 30 seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz. If in working order the solenoid will click.
4
SOLENOID 2-3 FUNCTION ON/OFF ACTIVE 30s/1Hz
The control module activates shift solenoid 2-3 (S2) for 30 seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz. If in working order the solenoid will click.

SOLENOID LOCK-UP FUNCTION ON/OFF ACTIVE 30s/1Hz
The transmission control module activates the lock-up solenoid (SL) for 30 seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz. If in proper working order, the solenoid will click. A stethoscope should be used.

TORQUE LIMITATION FUNCTION ON/OFF OF WHICH OVER 3000 RPM ENGINE SPEED: ---- RPM
For certain shifting operations it is desirable to reduce engine torque so that shifting will be smoother. A torque limitation request signal then goes from the transmission control module to the Motronic engine control module, which reduces the torque. The function is initiated in activation mode. Engine running at idling speed and over 3,000 rpm. The Motronic engine control module retards the ignition, which can be seen on the tachometer and may also be felt

SOLENOID PRESS REG ACTIVE 30s/1Hz ---- mA
The control module activates the solenoid pressure regulator (ST) for 30 seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz. The solenoid is activated alternately with 250 mA and 910 mA. Although approximate, these currents are presented in the diagnostics instrument display. If successful, the solenoid makes a clicking sound. A stethoscope should be used.
