Ignition switch and ignition switch contacts

To remove



1. Move the selector lever to position P and remove the key.

2. Loosen the selector lever housing by such an amount that it can be turned to one side, see .

3. Unplug the wiring connector.

4. Remove the ignition switch connector.

5. Remove the ignition switch.

Important

Protect the adjacent plastic components.



The screws must be heated with a hot-air gun.

To fit


1. Fit the ignition switch with (10) 74 96 268 on the screws.

2. Fit the ignition switch contacts with (10) 74 96 268 on the screws.

3. Plug in the electrical connector.

4. Refit the selector lever housing, see .

5. Check the parking lock clearance, see .
