Windscreen member seal

To remove

Remove the windscreen member seal and any butyl tape.

Clean the surface on which the adhesive and tape is to be applied.

To fit

Apply butyl tape into the recess in front of the seal retainer. Lay a string 350 - 400 mm from the corners.

Apply butyl tape to the windscreen from the corners and down to the A-pillar. Later versions have double-sided tape.

Then apply a few beads of Sikaflex adhesive.

Fit the seal, making sure that it is approx. 13 mm over the plastic cover on each side.
