Operations 3, 4 and 5 will be easier if performed by two people, which is the recommended procedure. |

Open the
bonnet.

| 2. |
Disconnect the hose for the washer nozzles from the nipple on the
cover panel over the space between the bulkhead partitions.

| 3. |
Mark the position of the bonnet and remove it from the hinges (2
persons).
|
|
| 4. |
Detach the gas springs from their fastening points on the bonnet (2 persons).
The springs are mounted on a ball pin and secured with a clip.

| 5. |
Lift off the bonnet (2 persons).

| To fit |
Fit the bonnet in reverse order.

When replacing the bonnet: Remove the front seal and sound insulation (using a pair of curved needle-nose pliers) from the bonnet to be replaced and fit them on the new bonnet. |
