Open the tailgate.

| 2. |
Remove the striker plate retaining screws and lift out the striker
plate.
|
|
| 3. |
Unplug the connector for the luggage compartment
lighting.
|

| To fit |
Fit in reverse order.
| Adjustment after fitting |
Check the operation of the lock and adjust if necessary. the buffer and buffer guide may also need adjustment. See adjustment of tailgate buffer guides.
