Spark plugs (type 1 in the Fig.) should be checked and adjusted using tool 85 80 045. Spark plugs (types 2 and 3 in the Fig.) should be checked with a wire gauge.

Tightening order for intake manifold, B258



• Remove the intake manifold.

• Change the spark plugs.

• Refit the intake manifold.


Tightening torque, intake manifold: 20 Nm (15 lbf ft)
