(performed from above)

Withdraw the valve guides in the direction of the arrow using (1) press 83 90 494 and (2) pull rod 83 93 811, (3) spacer sleeve 83 93 829 and (4) nut 83 93 845. The valve guide is number (5).

To fit


Important

To facilitate assembly, flush the cylinder head with hot water and cool down the guides.



1. Insert the valve guide from above and apply the tool from below.

2. Centre the tool in the valve seat and fit the guides in the direction of the arrow. Use (1) press 83 90 494 and (2) pull rod 83 93 811, (3) stop 83 93 837, (4) centring sleeve 83 90 379 and (5) nut 83 93 845. The valve guide is number (6).

3. Ream the guide with tool 83 93 944, follow up with the 7.0 mm H7 valve guide reamer.
