Changing the service port - B204L only

To remove


1. Raise the car.


2. Open the bonnet.

3. Detach the purge hose with the service port from the rubber hose on the EVAP canister purge valve.

4. Detach the purge line from the securing clip.

5. Separate the service port from the line by carefully cutting off the purge hose with a sharp knife, scalpel or similar.

Note

Cut the line so that as short a piece as possible is used.



To fit



1. Press the purge line onto the service port with tool 83 94 546.

2. Connect the service port to the rubber hose on the EVAP canister purge valve.


3. Secure the purge line with the clip.

4. Pressurize the system and check for any leaks in the service port installation.
