The air induction system consists of the air intake pipe with resonator (silencer), air cleaner, rubber connecting duct, mass air flow sensor, and connecting hose. The air induction system is connected to the throttle body.

The volume of air consumed by the engine passes through the induction system where it is cleaned by a filter which removes particles of dust.
