| To remove |
| 1. |
Remove the resonator (air
silencer).

| 2. |
Disconnect the throttle cable and the Cruise Control cable,
if fitted.
|

| 3. |
Unscrew the expansion tank cap to release the pressure in the
cooling system.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the IAC valve.
|
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the coolant hoses from the throttle body.
|
|
| 6. |
Disconnect other hoses from the throttle body.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the throttle position sensor.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the four retaining bolts and lift away the throttle body.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Check the condition and
positioning of the O-rings.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the throttle body and tighten the retaining bolts.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft) |
|
| 3. |
Fit the throttle position sensor.
|
|
| 4. |
Check the setting of the throttle butterfly, see
illustration. Readjust if necessary by slackening two screws
and then moving the bracket in the desired direction.

| 5. |
Connect all hoses and the throttle cable. Connect the Cruise
Control cable, if fitted.
|
|
| 6. |
Fit the IAC valve.
|
|
| 7. |
Fit the resonator (air silencer).
|
|
| 8. |
Check the operation of the throttle.
|
