New command code system


The new EPROM that has been developed for the ISAT enables a completely new command code system to be used when carrying out fault diagnosis on model year 1994 cars.

To obtain readings or activate signals and functions, a three-digit code has previously been used. Starting with M94 cars, this code has been superseded by a system of menus in clear text which make it easy to select the desired "command" directly on the keypad. The structure of the MOTRONIC system's command menus will be evident from the table below.There are five main menus, two of them with a sub-menu containing different numbers of commands or functions.
