To remove



1. Remove the resonating chamber.

2. Remove the dipstick tube.

3. Raise the car and unplug the knock sensor's connector.


4. Remove the knock sensor.


To fit



Important

Before fitting, the knock sensor's contact surface in the engine block should be meticulously cleaned.


Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)

In other respects fit in reverse order.
