  Fault symptom
The direction indicator lamp does not work, "TICK TACK" sound generated at double frequency.Conditions
B1432 : The left-hand direction indicators are shorted to ground.Diagnostic procedure
| 1. | Activate the direction indicator switch and check the power supply to the direction indicator lamps by taking readings as follows: | |
| • | across pin 2 of the connector for the front direction indicator lamps and a good grounding point. | 
| • | across the connector for the side direction indicators (yellow/black lead) and a good grounding point. | 
| • | between connector contact pin 2 of the rear direction indicator lamps and a good grounding point. The readings should change between 0 V and 12 V. | 
| 2. | If it does not, connect a BOB and check the leads for shorting to ground as follows:   | |
| • | across pin 1 of the ICE module connector and pin 2 of the front left-hand direction indicator lamp. | 
| • | across pin 48 of the ICE module connector and the connector for the left-hand side direction indicator (green/black lead). | 
| • | across pin 1 of the ICE module connector and pin 2 of the connector for the left-hand rear direction indicator lamp. | 
| 4. | If it does not, the fault is probably in the ICE module. Proceed to  . | |
