Symptom: The interior lighting and reading lamps do not work. The switches for the electrically heated rear window (without ACC) and electrically heated rear seat do not work. The indicator lamp for the electrically heated rear window (without ACC) does not light up.

Diagnostic procedure

Disconnect the battery cable
before
unscrewing the grounding bolt. There is a danger that the control module will be ruined.

Check grounding points G33P and G33S (LHD) and also G33P and G34S (RHD).
|

|
If this diagnostic trouble code is generated, more than just a visual check of the grounding point should be made. Unscrew the grounding bolt and thoroughly clean the grounding point and grounding cable terminals. Screw the grounding bolt back in place.

Connect a BOB and check the leads between ICE module connector pins 70 and 53 and battery negative.
