Fault symptom

No lighting in main instrument display panel.



Conditions

B1530: No +B when ignition switch is in the ON position.

Diagnostic procedure


1. Check that fuse 17 in the main fuse box in the dashboard is intact and live.

2. If it is live, connect a BOB and check the lead between ICE module connector pin 34 and fuse 17 for breaks/shorting.

3. Check the lead between ICE module connector pin 65 and ignition switch connector pin 5 for breaks.


4. If the wiring is OK, the fault is in the ignition switch. Change the ignition switch.
