1. “RECALL SERV MESS"

This command resets the "TIME FOR SERVICE" service message when it is shown on the SID unit's display. This can also be done by pressing the "CLEAR" button for more than 8 seconds. "CLEARED" will then be displayed and an acoustic signal will sound after 4 seconds. "SERVICE" will be displayed after another 4 seconds and an acoustic signal will sound once again.

5. "DAY COUNTER"

On model year 1995 and later cars the service interval day counter can be turned on and off. If it is turned off, only the odometer reading will determine when the service message is displayed.

7. "SPEED WARNING ME"

If this warning system is active, an acoustic signal will be heard when the speed of the car exceeds 120 km/h. At the same time, the "SPD W" message will appear on the display. This is a legal requirement in the ME market with effect from M1995.
