Adjustment of parking lock

1.

Loosen the selector lever housing by such an amount that it can be turned to one side, see
.

2.

Move the selector lever to position P and turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
|
3.
|
Measure the clearance between the locking pin and the locking disc. The clearance should be 0.7 ± 0.3 mm.

4.
|
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
|
5.
|
Slacken the locknut on the rod.
|
6.
|
Remove the locking clip.
|
7.
|
Rotate the rod's end piece in the desired direction. Turn it anticlockwise if the clearance is too large, clockwise if it is too small.
|
8.
|
Tighten the locknut when the clearance is correct and fit the locking pin.
