Remove the three bolts for the support sleeve. Collect the support sleeve and bolts (mechanical clutch).

Press out the bearing race using support 87 91 204
with 87 92 236
as counterstay.

| Fitting |

Seat the bearing race using a plastic hammer.
|

| 2. |
Press on the bearing as far as it will go using drift 83 90 312.
Supports 83 91 311
and 83 90 148
must be used.

| 3. |
Refit the support sleeve (mechanical clutch). Fit the three bolts and tighten them using a torque wrench and Loctite 577 thread locking compound.

Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft).

Do not forget the thread-sealing agent on the through screws on the support sleeve. Risk of oil leakage. |
