Symptom: The "CHECK ACS" warning lamp is alight. System functions are disabled and the clutch cannot be operated. The car is undrivable.

Fault symptom
The "CHECK ACS" warning lamp is alight. System functions are disabled and the clutch cannot be operated. The car is undrivable.
Condition
When the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, the control module's current program does not coincide with the one that was originally programmed.
Diagnostic procedure
1 Check the control module
Remove the control module and check the wiring harness connector, particularly for slide-out of contact sockets. Check the control module's ground connection and power supply, pins 19, 3, 18 and 37.
All connections correct?
Continue with point 2.
Rectify the fault and continue with point 2.
2 Calibration of gear position, adaptation of slip point and gear lever sensitivity

3 Final check

Perform a drive cycle by driving the car at varying engine rpm and loads for 5 minutes.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON and OFF positions 10 times.
