Fault symptom
The clutch engages when the car is being driven but disengages if the throttle opening is less than 20%%. The clutch does not engage until the gear lever has been moved to neutral and back to the selected gear. The "CHECK ACS" warning lamp does not light up.
Condition
If the fault occurs in 3rd or 5th gear, the gear selector movement sensor's "GEAR LEVER SENSOR" voltage may be higher than 2.83 V.If the fault occurs in 2nd, 4th or reverse gear, the gear selector movement sensor's "GEAR LEVER SENSOR" voltage may be lower than 2.17 V.
When no force is exerted on the gear lever the voltage should be between 2.17 and 2.83 V.
